Getting Advice & Support

If you do need help, please let your Housing Officer, or member of staff you feel comfortable speaking to us. You can call us on 03451 772244, or drop into either our Dundee or Arbroath offices to ask for support.

If you’ve been threatened or feel unsafe

Call the police on 999 if you need protection immediately. If it’s too dangerous to speak, dial ’55’ on your mobile when you’re prompted. You can also let the operator know you need help by tapping the phone or making a noise.

You can contact Scotland’s Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline by phone, email or webchat 24 hours a day. Call 0800 027 1234.

Dundee Women’s Aid – Call their support line on 01382 207099 (for times please see their website) to speak with a key worker, or text their text line on 07763 682 105 with your safe contact details and a key worker will contact you, alternatively you can drop in to their office at 47 Blinshall Street, Dundee to speak with a key worker.

Angus Women’s Aid – You can contact us by email on info@anguswomensaid.co.uk, or by telephone on 01241 439437. Their office hours are 10.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 10.00am to 2.00pm on Fridays. If you need help outwith these hours, please call the 24 hour national helpline on 0800 027 1234.
